Senior AI Engineer

This is a remote position.

Our client has a role open for a Senior AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in building and deploying custom AI models focused on natural language processing (NLP). You will work on developing cutting-edge solutions, such as text generation, machine translation, quality estimation, and predictive editing, to enhance our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy custom NLP-focused AI models that deliver practical value to internal teams and external clients
  

• Collaborate with Operations and Business Intelligence teams to source, clean, and prepare high-quality training data
  

• Integrate models into production systems and workflows in partnership with the Applied Technology team
  

• Act as an AI subject matter expert, providing guidance and technical input to Sales and Client teams during brainstorming and solution design sessions
  

• Continuously research and evaluate emerging tools and techniques in the AI and NLP space.
  

Requirements

• 5 years + experience in a similar position
  

• Proven experience developing and deploying models in NLP domains such as:
  

               - Machine Translation

               - Quality Estimation

               - Predictive Text Generation

               - Automatic Post-Editing

• Hands-on expertise with one or more major Python AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras)
  

• Strong understanding of state-of-the-art model architectures (e.g., Transformers, LLM fine-tuning, seq2seq)
  

• Experience deploying models to web servers and integrating with Web APIs or services
  

• Solid track record of delivering real-world NLP solutions in production environments
  

• Fluent, fluency in other languages is an advantage
