What will your role look like?  

As a Communications & Design Intern, you will support our communications and marketing efforts, particularly through visual content creation and social media management. This internship offers the chance to work closely with the Communications & Marketing Lead, learn from real projects, and develop your design and digital communication skills in a mission-driven environment. Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Design visual content using tools like Canva (e.g. social media posts, infographics, internal materials, newsletters, and other brand assets).
  • Support the writing, layout, and publication of press releases and blog posts. 
  • Support in managing and planning LinkedIn content and other social media channels.
  • Map and maintain a comprehensive database of journalists and media contacts. 
  • Contribute ideas for engaging formats and ways to increase visibility and reach. 
  • Participate in media planning, idea conceptualization, and budgeting for communications campaigns. 


Requirements

Must-haves 

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Completed or in-progress degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; self-motivated and disciplined. 
  • Basic knowledge of Canva or other design tools.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and basic social media best practices.
  • Experience with content creation or graphic design (share a portfolio or university projects if possible).​
