POSITION: Associate Director, Data & Analytics


The salary range for this position is between $150k and $180k. 

Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience. The company also currently offers a Long-Term Incentive Plan (cash plan) of 20% base salary, annual performance bonus target of 20% base salary (subject to meeting plan requirements) and comprehensive health benefits (employer funded), unlimited vacation time and 401k plan (subject to change or modification from time to time).


POSITION SUMMARY

Averitas Pharma is seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and innovative Associate Director of Data and Analytics. The Associate Director of Data and Analytics will work closely with the internal and external stakeholders to drive the commercial infrastructure across data assets, commercial integrations, reporting, and commercial systems. Responsible for business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs within the commercial and medical organizations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain optimal customer and brand data models that allow for simple and efficient analytics for the leadership team to make quick, strategic business decisions.
  • Determine optimal data sources and ensure data integrity by acting as principal contact for the purchase, warehousing, and development/distribution of all commercial and medical analytics and reporting.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure infrastructure supports data model requirements and provide guidance for necessary enhancements to meet business needs.
  • Continuously refine and improve reports and data visualization to support field teams and decision-making.
  • Work closely with internal commercial, medical, and enterprise stakeholders to support and improve data infrastructure and systems stack. This includes but is not limited to data model, data warehouse, integration points, MDM, distributor sales and specialty pharmacy data, patient services hub, analytics, Field CRM, Marketing CRM, etc. Veeva experience is required.
  • Design special reports and conduct ad hoc analyses as needed to monitor commercial and medical effectiveness, program impact, and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Collaborate with Data Aggregator on business process/rules for data hygiene.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while being flexible to fill gaps across the organization as needed.
  • Able to supervise outside consultants and other third-party contacts.
  • Effectively communicate insights to senior leadership.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and request processing.


QUALIFICATIONS, CAREER EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

A combination of relevant education and applicable job experience will be considered.

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Career Experience
    • 5+ years of Pharmaceutical/Biotech operations, marketing, and IT experience.
    • Deep understanding of syndicated data, sales, marketing, medical, and market access data within a pharmaceutical/biotechnology company.
    • Highly collaborative individual with the ability to toggle between details and strategy with a desire to be hands-on.
    • Global experience is a plus.
  • Skills
    • Strong data and systems skills utilizing third party data and external reporting vendors.
    • Strong project and process management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Advanced analytical skills and experience with reporting/analytics tools, e.g. Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
    • SQL experience a big plus.
    • Domo reporting experience a big plus.
    • Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills.
