Job description

A Sourcing Specialist is responsible for conducting research, sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and candidate engagement.

TASKS:

  • Implementing and utilizing cost-effective recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified and diverse candidates
  • Developing a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
  • Prescreening and paper screening of candidates by reviewing resumes and doing phone screening
  • Creating tracking systems for all candidates and internal database
  • Collaborating with managers and possibly other departments to identify future talent needs and proactively source potential virtual professional candidates
  • Utilizing all channels, online portals, and social networking sites to source out and connect with potential candidates; manage job boards and job postings
  • Measuring and reporting of sourcing metrics on a real-time basis

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of proven work experience as a Sourcing Specialist, or any similar role is preferred
  • Extensive experience in using different channels, social network sites, online portals, and resume databases to source out potential candidates
  • Hands-on experience in using tools, applications, and systems for talent acquisition
  • Familiarity in creating sourcing plans and implementing strategies to improve candidate search
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in a healthcare/medical related field (Preferred but not required)
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check, etc.) (Preferred but not required)
  • Must be willing to work project-based

  • Computer Memory/RAM: 8.00 GB
  • Computer Operating System: At least Windows 10/11 64-bit or macOS Ventura
  • Headset: Any USB-type headset with noise-cancelling feature
  • Camera: Capable of a clear and crisp video output

BACK-UP

  • OPTION 1 (BACKUP SYSTEM):
    • Computer Processor: Intel Core i5-5000 (5th Gen or higher) or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
    • Computer Memory/RAM: 8.00 GB
    • Computer Operating System: at least Windows 10/11 64-bit or macOS Ventura
    • Headset: Any USB-type headset with noise-cancelling feature (Optional)
  • OPTION 2 (POWER SUPPLY - UPS):
    • Must be capable of powering your work station for at least 3 hours
      Typically a device with 240Wh or higher will be sufficient
    • Must be capable of accepting all the plugs required to maintain the primary device and work environment (device, monitor, modem, cell phone if using as internet backup)
