WORK ENVIRONMENT:

We are a remote first company with the exception of a few positions being onsite in our designated locations. The positions which are remote you will need to be able to travel a few times a year. You may be required at times to visit client sites or attend meetings at designated locations with your team members.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President, Client Implementations to lead implementation for our organization. This role will oversee the delivery of a variety of client implementations —ranging from digital product launches to full core conversions— with a particular emphasis on Core implementations and enterprise-scale deployments. You will lead a team of implementation consultants, project managers, and subject matter experts to ensure flawless delivery, operational excellence, and high customer satisfaction. You’ll be a driving force behind continual process improvement, scalability, and team performance across all implementations.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Leadership: Own and drive the strategy and execution of all client implementation projects.
  • Lead the planning, delivery, and support of new client onboarding initiatives across all product lines, with special focus on Digital and Core implementations.
  • Act as an executive sponsor and escalation point for complex client engagements.
  • Operational Oversight: Establish, refine, and scale implementation methodologies, tools, and best practices across the organization.
  • Monitor project performance metrics to ensure successful delivery on scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Continuously identify areas for improvement in workflows, processes, tooling, and resource allocation.
  • Team & Talent Management: Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing cross-functional team of implementation consultants and project managers.
  • Define team objectives, performance goals, and development plans aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, client advocacy, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Client Engagement & Satisfaction: Ensure clients receive white-glove onboarding experiences that reflect Nymbus' premium service culture.
  • Regularly interface with client stakeholders to ensure alignment on expectations, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Champion a proactive approach to issue resolution, change management, and long-term client success.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in professional services, client onboarding, or implementation management, preferably within fintech, core banking, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Demonstrated leadership of large-scale Core banking implementations (e.g., Deposits, Loans, GL).
  • 5+ years of people management experience, including leading multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
  • Proven ability to scale delivery organizations and implement standardized, efficient, and client-centric processes.
  • Expertise in project governance frameworks and tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and third-party fintech integrations.
  • PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certifications preferred.
  • Deep understanding of financial services operations and regulatory landscapes.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
