Job Title: Legal Counsel II

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

 

The Role:

Everfox protects critical data and systems in some of the world’s most security-sensitive environments. As Legal Counsel, you will be part of a high-growth cybersecurity company, advising on commercial transactions, government contracts and legal risk across our U.S. and international operations.

You will join a high-performing, collaborative legal team that is closely integrated into business strategy and well respected across the company. In this role, you will work across the business – including with teams in Sales, Operations and Engineering – to support go-to-market strategy, draft and negotiate key agreements, and help navigate complex regulatory issues. Your strategic insights will inform business decisions, and your ability to balance legal risk with practical execution will be essential to supporting secure and scalable growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partnering with Everfox business teams to review, draft, revise and negotiate a variety of commercial and government contracts
  • Supporting vendor and production procurement agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders to help the business scale efficiently and responsibly
  • Assisting with corporate governance and entity management, including organizational structure, corporate records, and related compliance matters
  • Building strong internal and external relationships to find creative, legally sound solutions that support business objectives
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to advise on legal and strategic issues as they arise
  • Helping develop, assess and refine internal policies and procedures to drive efficiency and support compliance across Everfox’s global operations
  • Identifying legal issues that require escalation and coordinating with appropriate subject matter experts
  • Taking on other duties and projects as needed, with flexibility and a proactive mindset

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience (law firm, government, or in-house)
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strong judgment and the ability to manage multiple matters with minimal oversight
  • Comfort working across functions and time zones in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Genuine interest in Everfox’s mission and the cybersecurity, technology and government sectors

Bonus Experience (Not Required):

  • Experience with privacy and security matters relating to technology transactions
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS and other U.S. government customer regulations
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations, including ITAR and EAR

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:

$114,400.00-155,799.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
