Multifamily Designer – Shape the Future of Construction

Now, we’re looking for a Multifamily Designer to join our team and help us bring bold ideas to life.

What You’ll Do
As a Multifamily Designer, you’ll play a key role in designing the structural backbone of residential and commercial buildings. You’ll collaborate with sales, production, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective designs that meet our clients’ needs and exceed expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing metal plate-connected wood trusses and wall panels using industry-leading software (Mitek)
  • Creating optimized layouts for roof and floor trusses, walls, and other structural components
  • Reviewing orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy and efficiency
  • Supporting sales and production teams with design expertise and troubleshooting
  • Preparing reports and documentation as needed
  • Continuously improving design processes and resource utilization

What You Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in multifamily or commercial design
  • Proficiency with Mitek software is a must
  • Strong understanding of floor and roof systems, including beam and hanger specifications
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
