Job description

Job Description:

Join our Finance team as a Manager, FP&A! Reporting to the Director, FP&A, you will have a critical role in the Phreesia's financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, with a focus on the Company’s cost structure. In this role, you will collaborate cross functional with business units and conduct analysis to provide insights that will support strategic financial decisions. 

    

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with business leaders quickly establish positive relationships and become a key advisor for your local business partners, allowing you to build a solid understanding of business data inputs and outputs  

  • Partner with departments across the organization to drive operational efficiencies within our cross-functional teams’ processes and systems  

  • Build and maintain detailed financial and operating models to help predict future performance, perform scenario analyses, and guide the business on strategic decisions  

  • Assist with the company's balance sheet and cash flow forecasting efforts  

  • Support the development of the annual budget and ongoing forecasting processes, including variance analysis and trend identification  

  • Coordinate review of cost structure throughout organization to control the spend throughout all functional areas  

  • Work closely with Accounting during month-end close activities, including headcount reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and budget vs. actuals analysis and reporting  

  • Monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends, providing recommendations for improvement, and analyzing causes of unexpected variances  

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics and 5+ years of professional experience in Corporate FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or other related fields, ideally with experience working at a public company 

  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint with proven experience in building financial models and managing complex data  

  • Clear and concise communication skills to effectively communicate with business leaders

  • Proven experience working with Adaptive Planning required

  • Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment 

Base pay for US is $135,000 - $150,000, depending on qualifications. In addition, Phreesia also offers equity as part of an attractive & comprehensive Total Rewards package.  Phreesia is a fully remote company; however, candidates located in ET and CT regions are given priority in the hiring process.
