Job Summary

 

The Standard is in its fourth year of maturing Change Management capabilities through an enterprise Change Management Office (CMO), deploying end-to-end change strategies supporting the highest priority business objectives, and increasing enterprise change maturity. As a Director in the Change Management Office, join a 15-person team and lead half of the Change Management practitioners who are at the forefront of change delivery, growing and reinforcing The Standard’s change capabilities. You will collaborate closely with your peer CMO director on strategy and continuous improvement. You’ll provide change management thought leadership and subject matter expertise to inform CMO strategy and oversee the design and implementation of practical change management solutions in response to business needs. 
 
Team Leadership and Operations 

  • Responsible for the engagement, coaching, professional development and performance of your direct reports. 

  • Partner with your peer director to continue to grow the CMO team’s culture of collaboration and connection.  

  • Collaborate with your peer director to establish annual CMO strategy and goals. 

  • Along with your peer leader, you will engage with internal CMO workstreams as leadership contributors. Internal workstreams are aimed at impacting growth in our annual enterprise change maturity assessment. 

  

Enterprise Change Management Practice and Organizational Change Maturity  

  • Applying the enterprise Change maturity model, you’ll assess enterprise-wide capability for managing change. You’ll identify opportunities to improve managers’ abilities to lead change and employees’ abilities to absorb change to ensure successful adoption and benefits realization. 

  • Utilize your extensive change management expertise and deep appreciation for nuance to engage in conversations with leaders and partners across the enterprise. Share best practices in change management, provide oversight to change engagements, and influence reception of change practitioners. 

  • Oversees collaboration with industry peer groups and CM professional organizations to ensure alignment of enterprise-wide implementation strategies to best practices and strategic objectives. 

  • Continue to expand on and contribute to the CMO’s repository of tools and templates and change management best practice examples. 

  • Ensure that The Standard’s change management methodology and framework is being used in all change management engagements. 

  • Assesses enterprise-wide change impact and saturation levels, and coordinate with your peer leader to advise leaders on high change pressure areas, prioritization and sequencing. 

   

The Skills and Background You’ll Need 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior, human resources, organizational development, organization effectiveness, communications, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. 

  • Experience: Ten (10) or more years’ experience in owning end-to-end organizational change management required; four or more years’ experience managing and developing a team required. Prior experience in setting up and establishing an organizational change management or similar function preferred. 

  • Professional certification: change management certification or designation required.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$119,000.00 - $190,250.00
