Job description

What you will do

As our Business Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for building strong collaborative relationships with the global HR teams with a specific focus on Workday HCM & Security. You will be a key partner to the People Operations function within HR Solutions and plays a vital part in aligning system capabilities with HR’s operational and strategic goals.

You will manage and influence the Workday HCM & Security roadmap, collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize enhancements, and ensure compliance, scalability, and optimization of core HR processes. In addition to leading complex configuration and system initiatives, you will play a consultative role across the enterprise, serving as a bridge between business needs and technical delivery teams. You will work closely with the COE Leaders and HR Systems team to ensure consistency in the customer relationship globally.

  • Own and manage Workday HCM and Security domains, including configuration, role-based access, compliance alignment, and documentation
  • Collaborate with People Operations to understand HR workflows, identify automation opportunities, and improve operational efficiency
  • Drive the Workday HCM and Security product roadmap, balancing immediate needs with long-term strategy, scalability, and user experience
  • Lead planning and prioritization of system enhancements in alignment with HR goals, compliance standards, and available resources
  • Act as the primary liaison between HR, People Operations, and Systems teams for all Workday HCM and Security-related initiatives
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Workday security models, audits, user access reviews, and compliance requirements
  • Engage with the Workday Community to stay informed on emerging HCM and Security capabilities and best practices
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation of system access and HR process compliance
  • Partner with business and technical teams to define use cases, align technology solutions with business goals, and ensure clear communication
  • Ensure thorough documentation of requirements, configurations, and testing, while articulating guidance and influencing stakeholders effectively

What you need:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required OR 14+ years of total work experience
  • 8+ years of professional work experience
  • Workday experience required in Workday HCM and Security domains with an understanding of Workday security frameworks, domains, roles, and compliance consideration
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, influence product design, create process maps and lead complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience participating in system governance, roadmap planning, or feature release cycles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday certification(s) preferred
  • Knowledge of medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience working in an agency-regulated environment
  • Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies
  • Experience with Azure DevOps  

$115,600-226,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
