Job description

Want to revolutionize healthcare?

To create a healthcare system with effective health information exchange, healthcare organizations need more than a series of connections between each other. They need assurance that the data being exchanged is meaningful and to know it will be delivered when and where they need it.

Founded in 2014, Health Gorilla provides access to actionable patient data, supporting a diverse set of clinical use cases and improving outcomes across the country. We work with some of the leading companies in health IT, value-based care, and digital health, including Virta Health, The Garage, Medhost, and many others.
Health Gorilla is one of the five original organizations approved as a Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN) and the only QHIN to also be designated as a Qualified Health Information Organization (QHIO).

At Health Gorilla, we are redefining what it means to deliver real-world outcomes through health data exchange, not just standing up APIs, but helping clients achieve measurable business impact. As a Program Manager on the Solution Delivery team, you will work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Client Success to guide complex client implementations from scoping through value realization. Success in this role requires leading across ambiguity, the ability to connect delivery with business value, and a bias towards progress over perfection.

What you will do at Health Gorilla:

  • Drive cross-functional client implementation programs from scoping through measurable value realization, ensuring Health Gorilla delivers not just APIs, but business outcomes.
  • Lead delivery for dynamic, high-touch accounts, helping guide complex implementations and resolving challenges with calm, pragmatic leadership.
  • Turn ambiguous client needs into structured execution plans, including clear timelines, MVP definitions, and resource needs, balancing speed, quality, and long-term scalability.
  • Disarm tense situations, build trust quickly, and drive incremental progress when projects are stuck.
  • Shift fluidly between strategic problem solving and tactical execution as needed.
  • Step into high-impact work without needing a predefined scope. Identify gaps, propose solutions, and adapt as priorities evolve.
  • Contribute to a delivery model where implementation becomes a competitive advantage through clear playbooks, tooling, and predictable execution.

What you bring to the role:

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, implementation leadership, or client delivery at a health tech or B2B SaaS company.
  • High EQ and natural leadership presence. You’re skilled at translating complex technical challenges into clear, business-focused language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • A pragmatic, “find-a-way” mindset. You bring structure to ambiguity and move work forward even in imperfect conditions.
  • Strategic thinking paired with operational follow-through. You can zoom out to align business value and zoom in to fix a broken plan.
  • Curiosity about AI and experimentation. You’re interested in using  new technologies to drive more efficient delivery or extract client insight.
  • Exceptionally fast learner who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Experience managing projects with remote or distributed teams.
