This resource will lead the development effort within their workstream, recommending technical designs and developing solutions for the more complex user stories. They will also assign user stories to mid-level developers and system administrators, providing guidance as needed to ensure quality output.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow, including core platform and one or more advanced modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM, SecOps, GRC).
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required or ability to obtain within the first 90 days.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification required or ability to obtain within the first 90 days.
At least 1 ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is required or ability to obtain within the first 90 days.
Proficient in scripting and development such as JavaScript.
Experience with Integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and third-party systems.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and practical implementation within ServiceNow.
Proven ability to design, develop, and optimize complex workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
Demonstrated experience in configuring Service Portal.
Ability to lead design discussions, translate requirements into technical specifications, and mentor junior developers.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills — able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive in design discussions with the client.
Experience in writing technical documents.
