Why AGIA?

AGIA Affinity, an entity under DOXA,  is an established but growing insurance and benefits marketing partner to some of the largest and most iconic associations and organizations in the country. Our clients include many veterans' organizations and ensuring that our service members have the coverages they need when they need it is at the heart of everything we do. For 66 years we have sought to improve the lives of not only our client members but our internal members as well.

Requirements

We are seeking a PMO Leader to take charge of enterprise-wide program management, provide strategic direction to the project management team, and lead transformational initiatives across our growing organization. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in program-level oversight, resource planning, and enterprise systems implementation—who is also willing to get hands-on with the work and lead by example.

You will manage a portfolio of concurrent initiatives, direct a team of Project Managers, and oversee cross-functional collaboration with Technology, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Executive and Corporate teams. The role demands strong leadership, structured execution, and communication skills, alongside a deep understanding of enterprise technology projects and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management & Leadership

  • Lead the successful execution of enterprise programs—including acquisition integration, technology deployments, and operational transformation.
  • Oversee a team of project managers; mentor, coach, and ensure consistency in execution and reporting.
  • Ensure all work is properly planned and resourced within JIRA and updated (as required) due to changes in estimates, due dates, resourcing, etc.
  • Monitor established processes and procedures to ensure compliance. Work with unit / department managers to address noncompliance and escalate to senior management, as appropriate.
  • Provide guidance and direction in developing new and/or enhancing existing processes and procedures.

Governance & Reporting

  • Evaluate project risks and assist in developing remediation strategies.
  • Communicate any “at risk” projects to senior management

Ensure existing executive and operational level dashboards are accurate and being utilized to manage and report on the status of the work. Ensure standardized processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance PMO efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Drive alignment across stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and shared understanding of priorities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to identify gaps, dependencies, and execution challenges, especially those involving third parties in connection with new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field
  • PMP certification (plus)
  • 7+ years of experience managing enterprise programs, with at least 5 years in a PMO leadership role
  • Strong experience managing application deployment projects in an insurance carrier, brokerage and/or software vendor environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing shared resource pools and competing workstreams.
