We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Payments Sales Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that equip our sales teams with the knowledge, skills, and tools to successfully sell our payments solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales performance, understands the payments industry, and has a track record of coaching sales professionals in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for payments sales representatives, including live training, e-learning, and job aids.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Product, and Marketing to ensure training materials align with go-to-market strategies and product updates.
  • Provide 1:1 and group coaching sessions to improve sales performance and product knowledge.
  • Develop assessments and track training effectiveness using metrics such as ramp time, quota attainment, and feedback.
  • Lead certification programs to ensure sales reps are prepared to present, position, and sell payment solutions confidently.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in the payments space.
  • Support the rollout of new sales tools and processes related to payments.

Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales training, preferably in payments, SaaS, or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including merchant services, payment gateways, and card processing.
  • Proven ability to drive training adoption and performance improvement.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience using LMS platforms, CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), and sales enablement technologies.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a quota-carrying sales rep in a payments or fintech company.
  • Instructional design experience or relevant certification (e.g., CPTD, Train the Trainer).
  • Salesforce, Salesloft, and telephony tools.

Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation:

The target base compensation for this position is $90,000- $100,000 per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
