Job_Summary:

Scale is a tech-driven direct-to-consumer platform that develops and deploys cutting-edge consumer brands from concept to scale. As a Data Analyst, you will work at the intersection of business performance and technical data operations, helping to build and optimize data pipelines and reporting infrastructure while providing actionable insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT processes to extract data from third-party APIs and internal sources into our Snowflake data warehouse.

• Partner with engineering and senior analysts to manage data schemas, develop dbt models, and ensure scalability of data pipelines.

• Monitor data workflows for failures or inconsistencies and contribute to systems that ensure reliability and uptime.

• Ensure high data quality and integrity by implementing robust validation, transformation, and deduplication logic.

• Support the creation and management of table snapshots, backups, and data partitioning strategies for recovery, auditing, and compliance.

• Perform in-depth data analysis to answer critical business questions related to acquisition, retention, inventory, and customer behavior.

• Translate raw data into clear insights, metrics, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.

• Conduct root cause analysis and variance analysis to understand changes in key business metrics.

• Build dashboards and reports in platforms like Looker, Power BI, or Tableau that empower teams to self-serve data.

• Work closely with marketing, finance, growth, and operations to define and standardize key metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC, ROAS, AOV).

• Maintain and improve our BI layer to ensure accuracy and trust in all published data assets.

• Collaborate with the team to integrate AI-driven features into data pipelines, such as anomaly detection, forecasting, or automated reporting.

• Research and experiment with new tools (e.g., LLMs, AutoML frameworks) that can optimize data transformation and analysis.

Qualifications:

-Required:

• 2–4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data engineering in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and working with modern cloud data warehouses

• Experience with ETL/ELT tools

• Solid understanding of data modeling, transformation best practices, and data governance.

• Comfortable using Python or a similar scripting language for analysis and automation.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

• Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
