The International Assignments team within the Global Mobility function manages the relocation, assignment, and immigration processes for our growing population of internationally mobile employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

We are searching for an International Assignments Partner who will be the main point of contact and case manager for our international assignees, our internal stakeholders and external vendors involved in the process.  The IA Partner works closely with the IA Coordinators to manage assignments, together they form a team that is the spider-in-the-web within the lifecycle of an international assignment.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Global Mobility, especially in case management and communicating with all stakeholders involved in the assignment process. Preferably, the candidate also has a tax background, or at least affinity and/or experience with expatriate taxation.

Tasks

  • Central point of contact for all stakeholders in the day-to-day management of short- and long-term international assignments.

  • Working closely with the IA advisor, the IA Coordinators and the rest of the team to ensure smooth execution of our International Assignments program

  • Managing international assignments, acting as the single point of contact for the assignee and family to provide advice in the end-to-end management of their individual assignment

  • Partnering with external vendors to ensure that all services are provided timely and in a compliant matter, while ensuring a smooth relocation process for our assignees

  • Participating in projects related to Global Mobility in general and International Assignments specifically

Requirements

  • A confident individual that can maintain relationships in the business at varying levels of seniority. Possesses excellent communication skills and can interact with people of different cultures and nationalities. Enjoys work that is complex and detailed in nature.

  • A bachelor’s or master’s Degree in a relevant field, which includes Business Administration, Tax or Law, as your basis and 3-5 years of relevant work experience including managing employee relationships

  • Strong knowledge of international assignment management, immigration, tax, and employment laws

  • Team player with good organizational, planning and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple tasks at the same time and able to adapt to changing business needs, while maintaining focus on delivering the results within tight deadlines

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

  • Fluent in English. Other European languages are a positive
