Job Summary:

Assists leadership with strategic plan development; develops business plans and supporting tactical plans; initiates and coordinates market research projects; and provides consultation, insights and recommendations based on objective, detailed market research and analysis. Works with external parties and Geisinger leaders to identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities.

Job Duties:

  • Ensures smooth and effective strategic planning process implementation and facilitation. Assists in the formulation and validation of strategies, assuring synchronization, coordination and integration with strategy and financial planning.
  • Leads and coordinates efforts to facilitate strategic assessments and business plan development for new services and operational areas working cross functionally with a variety of entities. Manages a portfolio of strategic projects, initiatives and clients.
  • Synthesizes quantitative and qualitative information from a variety of sources to define strategic implications, support creative problem solving and develop strategic pathways forward for growth.
  • Leads cross-organizational work teams for physician practice alignment efforts including acquisition due diligence and integration processes in close coordination with hospital platform and Institute leaders.
  • Develops effective working relationships with external parties, Institute, platform and ancillary service leadership, constructively engaging with them in order to facilitate collaborative, timely and consistent execution of business development/planning initiatives.
  • Develops and manages communication plans for each business development/planning initiative, facilitating timely, effective communication with project stakeholders and key leaders on project deliverables and status.
