Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$137,700 - $162,000

Job Summary

Leads the design and implementation of information systems solutions to address complex enterprise infrastructure needs. Analyzes and ensures security and seamless integration of systems with current applications. Provides guidance to the application development department on new technologies and system requirements. Possesses a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure, application programming, and web and software applications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Lead teams in planning and developing software solutions meeting business needs. 

  • Drive continuous education and adoption of new technologies within the team. 

  • Effectively communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders. 

  • Deliver high level technical documentation for newly initiated projects, facilitating in-depth exploration and analysis by teams. 

  • Take ownership of estimating technical tasks and evaluating risks based on requirements. 

  • Build out prototypes and proof of concepts as needed.  

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system-level documentation. 

  • Drive high-level design discussions for complex business problems. 

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of solution cost, performance, and tradeoffs. 

  • Champion quality processes throughout system development stages. 

 

 

Required Skills, Education, Experience 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 

  • 10+ years of experience in a related field. 

  • Proficiency in software design patterns and architecture principles. 

  • Extensive experience with MVC architecture, web services technologies, and modern frameworks. 

  • Familiarity with reactive architecture concepts. 

  • Ability to quickly understand and work with unfamiliar complex code. 

  • Strong documentation skills needed for SOX compliance. 

  • Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. 

  • Experience with mentoring developers and others in technical roles.
