The Role

We’re looking for a strategic and operationally minded Vice President / Senior Director, Go-to-Market Strategy, Operations & Analytics​ to partner with executive and senior leadership team to drive transformation and growth. This high-impact role will serve as a strategic advisor, integrator, and force multiplier—driving alignment across priorities, accelerating execution, and enabling scale. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, systems thinker, and skilled communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments. You’ll play a key role in translating vision into action, leading strategic planning processes, driving operational rhythms, and stewarding cross-functional initiatives that shape the future of Bluehost.

As Vice President / Senior Director, Go-to-Market Strategy, Operations & Analytics, you won’t just keep the trains running—you’ll help design the track. What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.  

Strategic Planning & Business Alignment

  • Lead annual and quarterly planning processes, ensuring goals, KPIs, and priorities are aligned across Marketing, Sales, and Product.
  • Partner with CMO, Finance, and senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making, resource allocation, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Support M&A, business development, and market analysis with research, modeling, and executive-ready recommendations.

GTM Strategy, Operations & Analytics

  • Build and scale GTM analytics infrastructure—connecting campaign performance, LTV:CAC, funnel health, and ARR impact across channels.
  • Operationalize OKRs across GTM teams and lead initiatives like pipeline tracking, quota planning, territory design, and incentive modeling.
  • Integrate win/loss insights and usage telemetry into actionable recommendations for Product, Sales, and Marketing.

Operational Excellence & Execution Rhythm

  • Own the company’s operating cadence—leading weekly business reviews, special projects, and exec steering forums.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting that surface risks, performance gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Identify and remove operational bottlenecks, driving accountability, speed, and scale.

AI Strategy & Enablement

  • Define and lead the roadmap for pragmatic AI adoption across GTM—focusing on automation, content velocity, personalization, and sales enablement.
  • Evaluate GenAI tools, pilot initiatives, and establish KPIs to track business impact and adoption.

Spend Management & Efficiency

  • Implement real-time spend tracking across demand gen, media, and GTM programs to improve ROI and reduce leakage.
  • Partner with Finance to optimize CAC payback, marketing mix, and investment allocation across customer segments.

Executive Support & Communication

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team—prepping materials, synthesizing inputs, and managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Drive the creation of board materials, investor updates, and leadership presentations with clear, data-informed storytelling.
  • Act as a connective tissue across internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Change Management

  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that fall between functions or require orchestration across GTM, Product, and Finance.
  • Manage change initiatives and coach emerging leaders on strategy, execution, and operational excellence.

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

  • 12+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, operations, or business leadership roles, especially in marketing and sales
  • Deep experience in business and GTM analytics around LTV, CAC, ecommerce and Sales funnel analytics.
  • Proven track record in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Deep expertise and knowledge in evolving AI landscape and pragmatically driving AI strategy
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Executive presence, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience supporting or working directly with C-level executives.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity and action in fast-moving environments.
  • Experience in SMB and Consumer SaaS organizations

Preferred

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree.
  • Prior experience in hosting businesses.
  • Familiarity with OKRs, agile business planning, or operating models.
  • Comfort working with data tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Notion, Airtable)
  • Experience with private equity backed organizations
