About the Opening: We are seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant / Commercial Loan Specialist to join our team. This person would be responsible for helping verify details of small business loan packages while ensuring quick responses and turnaround times to requests. Industry knowledge will come with time and training, but there are a few non-negotiable skills and traits we are looking for.

Essential Functions for This Role:
- Learn and retain program details and requirements to appropriately document, and potentially close and fund, small business loans.
- Accurately organize documents, keeping in mind state and federal requirements, internal policies, naming conventions, etc.
- Utilize all Microsoft Office products and learn FFCFC's internal web-based programs
- Consistently communicate and follow up with colleagues, partners, and clients
- Maintain a large pipeline of deals (in various stages) while ensuring quick responses and turn times to requests
Requirements
This job might be for you if you:
- Have at least one (1) year of professional experience as an administrative assistant, executive admin assistant, paralegal, or a specialist in banking or real estate
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Are computer-savvy and have a high proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Have professional communication skills (phone, email, and messaging)
- Have prior experience with reviewing insurance documentation (helpful, but not required)
- Available to work full-time Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, in our Jacksonville, FL office
- Already live in the Jacksonville, FL area or are willing to relocate (especially if you have ties to the area)
- Are OK with working in an office setting the majority of the work week (note that occasional work-from-home days could be an option after your training is completed)
- Can pass a rigorous criminal background check
