JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role Overview

The Director of Architecture, Integration, & Intelligence is a strategic technology leader responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise architecture vision, overseeing integration platforms and services, and enabling AI-driven capabilities across the organization. This role ensures that our digital foundation is scalable, secure, and optimized to support business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Architecture
  • Define and evolve application architecture standards, patterns, and roadmaps.
  • Establish architecture governance and ensure alignment with business and IT strategies.
  • Lead solution architecture design and reviews for major initiatives and platforms.
  • Possesses a high level of technical acumen, enabling thorough assessment and integration of solutions that meet current demands while anticipating future organizational needs across various sectors.
  • Guides long-term strategic planning, including the development of comprehensive roadmaps and program plans that anticipate future technology and market trends.

Integration Strategy
  • Own the implementation and management of comprehensive Enterprise Architecture and Technology Standards for system integrations, ensuring these frameworks support strategic business objectives and technological innovation.
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of a scalable, supportable enterprise integration platform.
  • Partner with Application and Platform Services teams to ensure seamless system interoperability.
  • Work with Data Services team to align data pipeline frameworks to integration architecture.

AI & Intelligence Enablement
  • Leads and inspires teams in the adoption and enhancement of AI technologies.
  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams to operationalize AI use cases.
  • Drive the adoption of AI agents and automation across business functions.
  • Ensure AI initiatives are aligned with data governance and ethical AI principles.
  • Develop AI roadmap in partnership with business and IT stakeholders.

Leadership & Collaboration
  • Exhibits ability to communicate complex technical topics in a clear, succinct, and impactful manner, making strategic discussions accessible to all stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of architects, integration engineers, and AI specialists.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate strategy into executable roadmaps.
  • Mentor and develop talent, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Demonstrates exceptional teamwork, facilitation, relationship building, and negotiation skills, fostering collaborative environments and Driving consensus among diverse groups.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant work experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven leadership in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Strong understanding of application integration methods
  • Strong knowledge of solution design patterns and architectural models
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong ability to articulate concepts and strategies effectively.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities with ease and under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills – and ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like way, and achieve goals without direct control over resources.
  • High attention to detail; follows through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with IPaaS platforms (Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi) or similar middleware.
  • Experience in multi-brand environments is a plus.
  • Experience with designing technical solutions in complex business environments.
  • Auto industry experience or adjacent industry experience.

Compensation Range:

$7.25 - $279,900.00

Compensation Frequency:

Annual

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
