The Role

As an Inside Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate with sales representatives and partners to showcase the value of BeyondTrust’s products, services, and solutions. Acting as a technical specialist within the sales cycle, you will provide foundational support to highlight the capabilities of the BeyondTrust suite. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their technical expertise and customer-facing skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with marketing campaigns, including webinars and product demonstrations.
  • Support lead qualification by validating technical environments and understanding business problems.
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Participate in discovery and opportunity engagement by conducting background research, qualifying questions, and understanding customer needs.
  • Articulate the business value of BeyondTrust solutions to prospects and customers.
  • Demonstrate how BeyondTrust solutions address customer challenges and deliver on the value proposition.
  • Assist in developing written proposals to complement financial proposals for prospects.
  • Play a key role in securing the technical win for opportunities by effectively presenting solutions and value.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience, including help desk and/or technical support of applications, server infrastructure, desktops, virtualization, and directories.
  • Good understanding of common operating systems and network topologies.
  • Familiarity with foundational security concepts and practices.
  • Ability to assess technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a team-selling environment.
  • Comfortable delivering presentations to audiences of varying sizes.
  • Security+, Network+, or equivalent industry certifications.

Nice To Have

  • Pre-sales experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Basic working knowledge of Linux and Azure Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with BeyondTrust products (Privilege Management for Desktops, Remote Support, Privileged Remote Access).
  • Security-focused qualifications or certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with security solutions such as anti-malware, data protection, firewalls, and mobile/email/web security.
