Job Description

Your Contribution to Something Big – Business Analyst in Controlling

As a Business Analyst in our Controlling department, you play a key role in shaping the financial future of our plant. You're not just analyzing numbers – you're providing strategic insights and being a trusted business partner to Plant Management. If you're ready to make an impact, bring your analytical expertise and join a team where your contribution truly matters.

Your Role – What You Will Do

  • Monitor and assess the financial and operational performance of our plant activities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and business partner for the Plant Management team on all financial and commercial topics.
  • Drive value creation by identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
  • Steer the organization by calculating and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) – such as budget spending, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Take ownership of cost controlling across categories like headcount, personnel costs, internal defect costs, and more.
  • Analyze investment profitability through NPV, payback period, and other financial metrics.
  • Support the Business Plan and Forecasting processes to provide a reliable view of upcoming financial periods.
  • Deliver transparent reporting to internal stakeholders with clear insights on actual and forecasted performance (monthly and quarterly).
  • Be responsible for planned product cost calculations for the entire product portfolio within your scope.

  • You hold a university degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, or IT.
  • You bring 2–3 years of experience in Controlling or a similar analytical role.
  • You’re passionate about digitalization and naturally look for ways to automate and streamline processes.
  • You have hands-on knowledge of tools like Power BI, SQL, Tableau, SAP, or RPA technologies.
  • You’re a true Excel expert and confident using other Microsoft Office tools.
  • You’re known for your reliability, precision, and team spirit – even when the pressure is on.
  • You’re fluent in English, both written and spoken.
