Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated IT Support to join our growing medical billing company. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or entry-level candidates who are eager to start their career in IT. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to staff, assisting in maintaining IT infrastructure, and supporting day-to-day operations related to hardware, software, and network systems.

Job Description:

  • Provide basic technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
  • Set up and configure computers, user accounts, and access rights
  • Assist users with software issues including medical billing applications, Microsoft Office, browsers, RDWEB, SFTP, FTP, Email etc.
  • Monitor and report system outages or security concerns
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and accessories
  • Support staff with basic troubleshooting over phone, chat, and in ticketing
  • Escalate advanced issues to senior IT staff as needed
  • Document support tasks and create user guides or FAQs
  • Assist in onboarding new users (email setup, access provisioning)
  • Perform regular updates, backups, and basic maintenance tasks on Desktops

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree, Diploma, or Senior High Tech Vocational Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Open to fresh graduates and entry-level candidates
  • Willingness to be trained and learn medical billing software and systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and networking fundamentals
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • A positive, customer-service-focused attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • Preferred (but not required):
  • Internship or OJT experience in IT support or helpdesk
  • Knowledge of Remote Desktop, Active Directory, ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, healthcare IT systems, or EMR/EHR platforms
  • Basic knowledge of printers, VoIP, VPN, or cloud-based tools
