AE Project Designer

Essential Functions:

• Independently create site designs and drawings from field investigations, original drawings, satellite images or other internet software using AutoCAD and/or GIS software.
• Basic knowledge of industry related civil design.
• Adhere to and follow company AutoCAD and GIS standards, details, and templates while doing projects.
• Work closely with project supervisor to ensure quality drafting.
• Follow company guidelines as it relates to file management.

Education, Experience, Skills:

• Certificate or degree from college or technical school in AutoCAD, GIS, or experience equivalent.
• Proficient CAD skills, preferably in the latest version.
• Basic knowledge of engineering or architectural design.
• Understand the use of Adobe Acrobat (PDF files), digital photographs (JPEG), Microsoft Office products (outlook, word, excel, and teams) and internet search engines.  
• Familiar with databases and the process of uploading and downloading of data.
