Job description

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Leadership:

  • Lead end‑to‑end strategic finance initiatives, including the selection and implementation of financial systems
  • Define project scope, align stakeholders, and manage timelines, execution and reporting.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure successful adoption and long‑term sustainability through proactive change management.

Executive Advisory & Research:

  • Support the CEO, CFO & Finance AVP with ad-hoc financial analysis, policy research, and impact assessments.
  • Develop executive briefing materials and corporate communications for internal and leadership use.
  • Develop, communicate, and update key corporate policies.

Finance Innovation & Process Improvement:

  • Assess and optimize Finance processes for efficiency and automation.
  • Support digital transformation projects that reduce manual effort and improve quality.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement finance technology and automation tools.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Identify and define KPIs that measure and enhance company‑wide performance.
  • Develop benchmarking processes
  • Support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) tools to improve forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making.

Global Expansion Support:

  • Research and interpret local tax, labor, sales tax, corporate structure, and incorporation requirements for new markets.
  • Support cross-border taxation analysis, international transactions, and global compliance.
  • Assist with international payroll, tax structuring, and legal entity set up across jurisdictions.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, corporate strategy, and/or consulting.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience selecting, implementing, and managing financial and operational systems.
  • Genuine interest and experience in adopting new technologies and exploring innovative ways of working.
  • Strong understanding of transactional finance operations.
  • High level understanding of cross-border taxation concepts, international transactions, global tax and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in project management and adept at prioritizing and coordinating diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience in high‑growth industries or international expansion is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query and other platforms to drive automation and enable finance transformation.
Education & Credentials:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
  • CPA, MBA, or relevant graduate qualification strongly preferred.
