Job description

Position Summary:

The Sales Insights Analyst leverages data and reporting tools to drive business decisions and empower sales performance. This role collaborates cross-functionally to deliver actionable sales insights, build and maintain CRM dashboards, analyze trends, and support strategic planning. The Analyst ensures sales leaders have the information needed to meet targets and optimize processes in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Accountabilities:

Strategic and Analytical (50%)

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) using filters for actionable insights.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics (e.g., sales pipeline trends, forecast accuracy, rep productivity), customer trends, pipeline dynamics, and win/loss data on a weekly and sometimes daily basis.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support sales initiatives, new product launches, and territory planning.
  • Evaluate historical trends and current pipeline to support forecasting, quota setting, and territory optimization.

Technical (30%)

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and standardized reporting tools to provide visibility into key sales KPIs.
  • Use Excel and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to analyze data, apply relevant formulas, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Extract and analyze data from CRM, SQL, and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) to inform business decisions.

Influence/Collaboration (20%)

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams, translating business questions into analytical frameworks.
  • Communicate findings and action items clearly via email, video calls, and chat.
  • Participate in cross-functional planning meetings and support remote collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or a similar data-focused role; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Proficiency with Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups), Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) including building reports/dashboards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to visit Monterrey office 6 times or more per month
  • Ability to travel ~2 times per year to Winston-Salem, NC for teaming activities at headquarters

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a U.S.-based or multinational organization.
  • Understanding of B2B sales processes and metrics.
  • Exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics techniques. Add any other specific skills
