Job Summary
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the coordination and delivery of SitelogIQ’s Commercial Markets projects, with a focus on energy and infrastructure improvements including solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), EV charging stations, lighting retrofits, and other facility improvement measures (FIMs).
This role supports project execution through all phases—from planning and procurement through construction and commissioning—ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, safety, and quality goals. Experience managing multi-trade projects over $2M and working under or as a General Contractor is preferred. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and leadership skills, combined with a passion for sustainable, high-performance building solutions.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Review project estimates and preliminary designs to establish time frame/schedule, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
- Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
- Coordinate activities of project to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel and coordinate schedules or plans as required
- Coordinate with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
- Serve as the primary liaison for Sales Team, Project Engineer, Customers, Internal and External Resources, and Management regarding project related items
- Establish safety plans and goals
- Coordinate and document quotes and proposals with vendors. Procure equipment for projects and work with vendors and subcontractors to coordinate timely deliveries of equipment.
- Obtain, review, and approve subcontractor scopes of work and quotes. Work with internal team members to have contracts written and executed.
- Assist in equipment selection and manage the design and engineering of the project.
- Facilitate the processing of all DSA paperwork along with the project architect.
- Work with management on monthly budget management, project forecasting, project billing and collections.
- Utilize the financial system for forecasting, revenue projections and monthly billings.
- Assist in AR collections
- Adhere to the SitelogIQ Project Management Goals and Objectives
General Responsibilities:
- Organize logistics and travel to and from client sites throughout United States.
- Coordinate several contracts of varying sizes while maintaining customer expectations and working effectively and efficiently
- Coordinates project activities with government regulatory agencies as needed
- Potential participation in association and industry events to learn, develop, and educate team members
- Coordinate with internal operations team and external partners to provide consistent customer service and to provide feedback supporting continuous improvement of the program
- Prepare project reports for Management, clients, or others
- Any other job duties assigned
Project Manager Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or relevant field experience. May be substituted for 2 years of experience.
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) strongly preferred.
- Safety-minded; familiarity with OSHA and general industry safety requirements, OSHA 30 Certification strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3 Years’ Experience as a Project Manager
- Ability to read plans and specs
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects

- Ability to fulfill many roles as needed for the growth of the company
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient and using MS Office Suite of products, including MS Project and Excel, as well as Web based and smartphone applications

- Self-Starter and capable of working remotely with minimal management in a flexible and changing work environment
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Office and field setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, phone, and keyboard. May regularly need to lift up to 40 lbs., unassisted. Regularly travel will be required for site supervision and completion of job duties. Will work under a variety of conditions and in various settings, depending on the type of job and client, including evenings and weekends. Able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds, and must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time. Comply with and wear required Protective Personal Equipment (PPE).
