LANES is a community-based Qualified Health Information Organization (QHIO) whose mission is to improve health care delivery by building a platform that enables cost-effective and secure electronic exchange of patient medical records among public and private health care providers and health plans in the larger Los Angeles County region. LANES seeks to make personal health information available when and where it is needed for patient care, safely and securely.
LANES uses a combination of the following systems and services as its core technology infrastructure. LANES uses the Mirth technology, AWS cloud, Google Big Query and FHIR, to link healthcare organizations and to maintain the core technology infrastructure of the Health Information Organization. Lòs Angeles Network for Enhanced Services (LANES) is a Qualified Health Information Organization (QHIO). We connect 200+ healthcare organizations in the Los Angeles region and exchange data on 13+ million patients in real time. LANES is a growing organization with dozens of new healthcare entities connected to our network each year. We are also an industry-leading organization with a state-of-the-art, proprietary technology platform.
LANES created a unique new opportunity for a talented and motivated Cloud Network Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and administering LANES’ two cloud environments (AWS and GCP). The Cloud Network Engineer is responsible for backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Moreover, the Engineer will set up continuous alerting and monitoring, identify and resolve networking and system problems. The Engineer will also be responsible for cybersecurity and HITRUST compliance. Furthermore, the Cloud Network Engineer will provide Tier 2 and Tier 3-level support related to cloud network issues. The Engineer will continuously monitor LANES’ cloud environments and databases for operational performance, availability, cost, and cybersecurity. The Cloud Network Engineer will also be responsible for LANES’ cloud-based productivity software
Special Note: This is a virtual home-based position. Will be required to attend in-person meetings in Los Angeles area on an as-needed basis.
This is a full-time Salary benefitted position. Employment is provided by Heluna Health.
The pay rate for this position is $118,657.43- $130,000.00 annually
