The Services Architect (SA) is a key member of the Global Pre-Sales team, working closely with Services Sales, Inside Services Sales (ISS), and the account team. Their main responsibility is to design tailored service solutions that support offerings such as NCR ATM as a Service (ATMaaS), Multivendor Hardware Support, and Managed Services for the ATM Line of Business (LoB).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Sales & Solution Design: Focused on designing comprehensive Global Services solutions, particularly ATMaaS and Managed Services, that meet customer needs.
  • Opportunity Management: Owns the qualification process for service opportunities, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and NCR capabilities.
  • Cost & Feasibility Analysis: Evaluates all cost components of the proposed solution to ensure it is both technically viable and financially profitable for NCR.
  • Internal Approvals: Responsible for securing all necessary internal approvals before submitting a proposal to the customer.
  • Operational Reviews & Contracting: Leads operational reviews, drafts customer contracts, and manages negotiations until the contract is signed.
     

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience in a Service Design role including presales, Managed Service frameworks, commercial and contract expertise
  • Strong understanding of Break/Fix, Managed Services, and Networking concepts
  • Experience designing or multi-region services
  • Experience in working with an ecosystem of partners to build an overall service solution model
  • Demonstrated ability to lead presales opportunities including service models, response content, commercials, tactics and negotiation
  • Strong capabilities to articulate the business value of Services and convince a customer of such value
  • Experience working on deals with multiple technology and service layers
  • Deliver a well-defined set of service design documents in a timely manner presenting an end-to-end seamless service
  • Expertise in pre-sales and support strong qualification of opportunities, managing sales and customer expectations about NCR Services can deliver
  • Experience in service cost models and creating innovative commercials to drive competitive advantage
  • Support producing new content including design templates, proposal documentation, and presales slide materials
  • Comfortable delivering solution presentations to Customers
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Excellent English Language verbal and written communication skills including the ability to share complex, technical topics clearly, concisely, effectively and professionally
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
