Role
The Destination Experience Specialist is responsible for designing and planning world class shoreside experiences that bring the Aman at Sea vision to life. The ideal candidate should already be based in Greece and involves close collaboration with internal teams, local partners, and global colleagues to deliver personalised itineraries and luxury experiences that reflect Aman’s values. The ideal candidate is passionate about culture, travel, and service, and is skilled at both planning and delivering seamless and bespoke guest journeys.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and curate world-class shoreside experiences that embody Aman at Sea’s vision of cultural authenticity, sustainability, and effortless luxury.
  • Collaborate with local partners to develop exclusive activities, cultural events, and excursions.
  • Liaise with itinerary planners and shipboard teams to seamlessly integrate shore experiences into each voyage, and provide on-site support as needed.
  • Ensure all guest experiences meet the highest standards of quality and personalisation.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings and vendor agreements.
  • Support the reservations team by providing detailed experience recommendations.
  • Conduct pre-arrival and post-departure follow-ups with guests to refine future offerings.
  • Monitor destination, and luxury market trends, competitor offerings, and guest preferences to inform continuous product improvement
  • Assist in developing marketing content and materials related to destination experiences.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and vendor performance reviews to maintain safety, quality, and brand alignment.
  • Promote responsible tourism practices by supporting local economies and minimizing environmental impact.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Min three years in luxury travel, destination management, or experiential product development
  • Proven track record designing and managing high-end shore excursions or land-based programs
  • Strong project-management skills (ability to juggle multiple initiatives and deadlines)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation or itinerary-building software.
  • Discreet, professional, and culturally sensitive.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and after-hours when required.
