Support CLEAResult's Carbon Consulting practice advising organizations on energy and Greenhouse Gas reduction strategies.  Leads design and development of technical strategies and carbon-free energy audits, performs ASHRAE levels 1 - 3 audits, conducts analysis to inform and recommend GHG and energy savings, and develops plans and provides reporting that contributes to the success of contracts. Creating tools and structure for the engineering portion of our GHG reduction plans, writing and informing technical documents and publications, and conducting quality reviews of content. Provides general project oversight, and quality control/assurance, and continuously informs customers and project team of updates and necessary adjustments. Supports business development efforts and proactively seeks new project opportunities.

For this opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can…

  • Calculate energy and emission savings for projects in our programs using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, fan laws, thermodynamics, algebra, and statistics

  • Lead other engineers in their technical work; able to lead teams of three engineers or more

  • Consistently develop the capabilities of other engineers, particularly EE IIs and IIIs

  • Scope significant work for the engineering team; ensure the work of others is of high quality, on time, and on budget

  • Able to perform ASHRAE level 2 audits unassisted at large commercial and industrial facilities

  • Proven company leader in several technical areas (e.g., audits, evaluations, work papers, data centers)

  • Oversees development of calculators, protocols, savings methodologies, and inspection processes

  • Consistently work with clients and able to manage projects and client relationships.

  • Deep understanding of industrial and manufacturing processes that generate emissions.

  • Comfortable analyzing opportunities for renewable and onsite energy such as solar and battery storage, geothermal, thermal energy storage, etc.

  • BS Engineering degree

  • CMVP, CEM, or CEA preferred

  • PE preferred

Target Compensation

$125,000-$135,000

Compensation Range

$93,100.00 - $139,700.00
