Job description

Intro
Welcome to Sanoptis - a leading network of modern eye clinics and ophthalmology practices with over 440 locations throughout Europe. Our vision is to improve well-being and quality of life through first-class ophthalmologic treatment. Our innovative decentralized model enables our partner locations to operate independently to focus on the individual needs of their patients. At the same time, they are part of a larger network with strong partners, which gives them synergetic effects, state-of-the-art technology, and many other benefits.

For our Italian market, we are looking for a strong operations manager (m/f/d) in central Italy who will manage our local clinics independently.
In this role, you will
  • Be responsible for clinic operations: This will focus on our local clinics and includes support in their day-to-day business. You are the first point of contact to our clinic manager and shareholding doctors. Your hands-on approach allows you to act as a clinic manager in smaller clinics.
  • Implement process optimization: This will focus on local processes (operations, sales, and marketing) with the local team in the clinics. You will ensure excellent quality of care through continuous process optimization and quality management measures.
  • Define Strategies for Growth: Achieving our growth targets in close collaboration with senior physicians and our country management is a vital part of your role. You will prepare regular and comprehensive reports on key performance indicators, continue budget planning, and document progress and challenges at the site. You will develop online and offline (patient) marketing initiatives with our marketing team.
  • Conduct people management: Management of local staff and help build up a team together with the country management. That includes contract management as well as personnel decisions.
Your profile includes
  • A degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on healthcare economics or something comparable.
  • Extensive professional experience in operational management, budgeting, and project or change management. Ideally within clinics or healthcare facilities related to ophthalmology.
  • Relevant knowledge of the Italian healthcare framework, including standards and legislation.
  • Have a high level of motivation and initiative and the flexibility to work in different locations. With internal contacts, you demonstrate a team-oriented approach with implementation strength. You will demonstrate diplomacy and negotiating skills with external contacts.
  • Your Level in Italian and english is C1.
  • A curriculum vitae in English for screening reasons.
Sanoptis offers
  • Competitive Compensation: A highly competitive salary package complemented by an annual performance-based bonus tied to individual and company performance goals.
  • Autonomy and Creative Freedom: The opportunity to work independently and contribute comprehensively with innovative ideas thanks to flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes, thereby strengthening our organization.
  • Professional Development: Take advantage of opportunities for continuous learning and growth through training, online academies, workshops, and industry conferences.
  • Mental Health SupportAccess to psychologists and mental health programs to promote a healthy work-life balance.
  • Inclusive CultureJoin a talented and diverse team with a warm office culture and team events.
