Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software and driving testing excellence. In this role, you'll be a key member of our product team, working alongside developers, designers, and product owners to ensure our travel platform is robust, reliable, and user-focused from day one.

You will take ownership of building and evolving our QA processes and test strategies, with a strong focus on automation, early involvement in development cycles, and continuous delivery. Your mission

Own quality from start to finish by designing, implementing, and executing test strategies that ensure software reliability and performance.
Champion automation by maintaining and expanding automated and manual test cases across functional, regression, and performance testing.
Embed quality early by working closely with developers from the start of the development cycle to detect, analyze, and resolve issues early on.
Improve CI/CD pipelines to seamlessly integrate automated tests into our development and deployment workflows.
Think like a user by collaborating with Product Owners, Developers, and UX/UI Designers to ensure our software meets both business goals and user needs.
Track what matters by monitoring software quality metrics and driving continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.

Your profile

A degree in IT, software engineering, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
Solid hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to document test plans and results clearly.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to share knowledge across teams—in English, and ideally also in German.
