Job Opportunity: Student Advisor (Facebook & WhatsApp)

Location: Remote

Job type: Full-Time Hourly (40hrs/week)

Intended Start Date: ASAP

Pay: $18-$22/hr

Your Role:

As our brand rapidly expands across North America, particularly within Indian communities, we’ve gained significant traction on platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp. To better support prospective families, we’re looking for a Student Advisor to engage with parents via Facebook and WhatsApp, provide high-quality consultation, and guide them towards booking a free academic evaluation. This role plays a key part in our lead qualification and conversion funnel.

As a Student Advisor, your responsibilities are to:

  • Communicate with parents through WhatsApp and Messenger to answer questions, explain our curriculum, and guide them toward an evaluation session based on their child's needs.
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads, assess intent level, and qualify users for follow-up by our enrollment team.
  • Re-engage inactive or undecided users to boost interest and product awareness.
  • Collect user feedback, monitor conversation quality and lead performance daily, and provide actionable insights to improve scripts, segmentation, and messaging.
  • Stay informed about our course offerings and apply that knowledge to recommend appropriate programs for each family.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and conversion teams to continuously improve the lead journey and tagging structure.

Working Schedule: 

  • 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
  • Weekend availability required for at least one day
  • Example Shift (subject to adjustment):
    • 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM PT
    • 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM PT

*Final schedule to be determined based on team needs and availability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, with strong communication and logical reasoning skills.
  • Fluency in English is required and professional working proficiency in additional languages such as Hindi, Tamil, or Telugu, is preferred. 
  • Prior experience in education, online customer service, or course sale is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger communication styles; able to drive conversations beyond scripted replies.
  • Strong ability to identify user needs, match products accordingly, and adapt communication strategies on the fly.
  • Data-driven mindset: able to track, evaluate, and improve your own lead quality and conversion effectiveness.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely with a cross-timezone team.
