Description

The Opportunity: 

Reporting into the Credentialing Team Lead, the Credentialing Coordinator will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and verifying all aspects of the credentialing process, ensuring that our physicians are able to work as contracted. You will be an integral part of the team here at Medicus Healthcare Solutions, working closely with our internal delivery teams, our physicians, and healthcare facilities nationwide. We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment who is eager to help us support our mission of providing innovative solutions to healthcare problems.   

This position is located on-site at our office in Windham, New Hampshire. After 6 months of employment, there is an opportunity to work from home 1-2x a week.  
 

In this role, you will:  

  • Maintain excellent relationships with our clients and develop an understanding of their unique credentialing processes
  • Ensure completion of all details involved in provider credentialing files, accomplished in accordance to Medicus standards 
  • Communicate frequently and provide consistent credentialing updates to our providers, clients, and internal delivery teams
  • Provide world class customer service via phone and email correspondence
  • Maintenance of physician personnel files and physician database
  • Assist with other projects as assigned
