The Sales Support/Intake Specialist is a vital part of our front-line operations team, providing daily support to our solar consultants and ensuring the smooth intake and progress of solar projects. This role combines customer service, operational excellence, and cross-department collaboration.
You will work closely with the Sales Support Manager and Intake team, responding to live chats and tickets, reviewing new project submissions for accuracy, and helping drive projects toward installation. You’ll also play a key role in guiding sellers through platform, proposal, financing, and compliance challenges.
Handle inbound live chats and tickets related to:
Proposal or platform issues
Financing and equipment questions
Seller account checks (status, roles, leadership, course completion)
Commissions/refunds, account promotions, account creations
Escalations (IT, Finance, Proposal, Customer Care)—attempt resolution first
Rotate weekly as the Sales Support Lead (SSL) (full-time team members only)
Work 2–4 Intake projects daily, ensuring all documents and information are complete, accurate, and match across platforms
Utility bill, NMA, seller/finance/contract details
Document completion and consistency
Loan confirmation or cash deposit reminders
HOI, HOA, BA, and roof quote (as applicable)
Proposal match and lender compatibility
Hawaii-specific checks (trust status, signature validation, DHHL initiation)
Coordinate with Sales, Operations, IT, Finance, and Leadership to troubleshoot and advance project success
Communicate proactively and clearly across departments
Monitor trends and feedback to help improve tools and processes
Passion for helping others and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
Experience in customer service, admin support, or tech-enabled service roles
Highly organized, great with details, and comfortable multitasking
Strong communication skills—written and verbal
Comfortable using CRM and support platforms (Zendesk)
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools and processes
PV solar or construction industry experience is a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
Hourly Pay: $19.24/hour, paid bi-weekly
