SENIOR / PRINCIPAL BRIDGE ENGINEER – TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE – PACIFIC NORTHWEST
OPPORTUNITY:
Parsons is seeking a Senior or Principal Bridge Engineer to join our growing Pacific Northwest bridge practice, supporting major transportation infrastructure projects throughout Oregon and Washington, and beyond. This role is ideal for a skilled professional experienced in bridge rehabilitation, seismic retrofit, and new bridge design. The successful candidate will contribute to both local and national projects, supporting clients including ODOT, WSDOT, local cities, counties, ports, and other agencies.
This position offers the opportunity to lead challenging and rewarding structural assignments—ranging from long-span river crossings and seismically deficient structures to routine replacements of aging infrastructure. The role may be based fully remotely in Oregon or Southwest Washington, with a preference for Portland Metro Area candidates.
PROJECTS:
This exciting role will provide the opportunity to work on a wide variety of bridge structures, including concrete and steel bridges such as cantilever, continuous steel plate girder, prestressed girder, viaduct, and multi-span beam bridges. Projects will include both new bridge design and rehabilitation of existing structures, including those that are aging, fracture-critical, or seismically vulnerable.
