Who We're Looking For

Some of What You'll Do

Duties and Responsibilities: 

•    100% Support 
o    Assist in the development and maintenance of IREG testing procedures and adhere to all business processes and GSM standards
o    Provide switching & signaling support for Roaming Partner set up 
o    Perform switch/network translations for the establishment of roaming services 
o    Schedule and perform all IREG testing for any new roaming partners required by CARRIER_SHORT
o    Troubleshoot and evaluate SS7 messages when roaming services are failing
o    Troubleshoot switching, SGSN/GGSN, and SMSC as it relates to roaming
o    Manage test plan and schedule

Job Requirements:

•    General
o    Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM field, or equivalent work experience
o    2+ years experience working in a IREG testing environment preferred 
o    2+ years experience in areas of technical customer support, problem management and roaming implementation 
o    Formal software testing methodologies
o    Integration testing
o    Conformance testing
o    Module and Functional testing
o    Document inspections & reviews
o    Strong troubleshooting and error analysis skills
o    Strong understanding of GSM standards and testing methods
•    Required Interpersonal Skills
o    Exceptional customer service skills and demeanor, along with the innovative ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical clients.
o    Excellent analytical, multitasking, and communication skills (both verbal and written), 
o    Detail orientation and familiar with analysis and troubleshooting techniques
o    Good control and follow-up skills
o    Proactive Listening
o    Strong leadership skills
o    Good decision-making skills
o    The ability to excel in a team environment is essential under limited supervision
•    Good interpersonal skills
o    Required Project Management Skills
o    Strong prioritization skills in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
o    Demonstrates accountability for resolution of issues
o    Ability to lead small projects with guidance
o    Project time reporting
o    Estimate/Project risk analysis
o    Identification of tasks and associated hours
o    Ability to communicate status updates to project team and management
•    Travel: 30%
o    May be at client location for 2-4 weeks at a time. 
o    Must have valid passport to travel.
