About the role:
The Orange Movement (OM) is a bold global initiative aiming to mobilize US$10 billion in capital for gender-
just finance by 2030. As a multi-stakeholder platform, the OM brings together leaders from policy, finance,
and industry to institutionalize gender-lens investing through capital mobilization, data integration, and
enabling policies. The Orange Movement is scaling fast — and we are looking for a sharp, proactive, and
mission-driven Senior Associate to join the team.
IIX is seeking for a Senior Associate, Orange Movement to support the Director and overall mission of the
Orange Movement. You will be a core team member shaping a fast-moving, high-impact initiative at the
nexus of sustainable finance, gender policy, and systems change. The ideal candidate is strategic, highly
organized, articulate, and thrives in ambiguity and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:
Advisory Council & Stakeholder Engagement
Draft high-level emails, invitations, concept notes and talking points for engagement with
stakeholders across the UN, DFIs, governments, philanthropy, and private capital stakeholders.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, Zoom webinars, briefings, and follow-ups with global
stakeholders.
Support onboarding and relationship management for members of the Orange Advisory Council
(OAC).
Strategic & Technical Support
Support development of concept notes, 2-pagers, slide decks, and proposals for funding, events, and
ecosystem-building initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the Director to translate ideas into structured plans and timelines.
Contribute to technical white papers, op-eds, and working group outputs.
Coordination & Project Management
Work with internal teams (e.g. marketing, research, innovative finance) to develop and track
deliverables, including collateral, visuals, and digital assets.
Maintain progress dashboards, timelines, and priority lists to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Prepare briefing notes, agendas, and post-meeting summaries.
Technical Research & Learning
Conduct background research on sustainable/development finance, gender-lens investing,
taxonomies, policy frameworks, and market trends.
Help translate technical material into digestible insights for external and internal use.
Grow technical expertise over time with guidance from the Director.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a 4–5 years of professional experience, ideally in a DFI, NGO, government, consulting
firm, or financial institution
Proven ability to write exceptionally well – especially emails, concept notes, and presentations
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent multitasking and follow-through
Confident in managing stakeholder communications and logistics independently
Understanding of (or deep curiosity about) development finance, impact investing, and gender
policy
Bold and thoughtful communicator, proactive, intellectually curious, and resilient in a fast-paced
environment
Strong PowerPoint and MS Word skills; comfort with virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Calendly, etc.)

Additional Qualifications:
Experience working with multilateral institutions, UN bodies, or global convening forums
Familiarity with sustainable finance frameworks and standards (ISSB, TNFD, Iris, etc.)
Design or Canva skills (or willingness to learn for simple collaterals)
