We are looking for a Head of Payments Consulting & Solutions to lead the Payment Department and build a robust payment infrastructure. This role involves setting up payment solutions, optimizing payment efficiency, and driving strategic initiatives across a Group of 15 businesses.

A key focus will be on Internal Payments Consulting, providing expert guidance on payment processes, risk management, and infrastructure optimization to ensure seamless financial operations across the group. You will be responsible for overseeing and improving payment operations, drawing insights and conclusions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and negotiating with banks and other financial institutions.

This is a high-impact leadership role, where you will play a central part in enhancing financial efficiency, sourcing and implementing initiatives, and shaping the payment strategy within our ecosystem. The range of tasks:

Internal Payments Consulting – optimize and streamline payment operations across businesses;
Payment Infrastructure Performance – enhance efficiency and scalability;
Risk Guidance & Management – proactively mitigate financial risks
Business Development: market analysis of payment providers, searching for opportunities to expand and diversify the portfolio of payment methods and negotiate with payment providers & international banks;
Regulatory Monitoring – stay ahead of industry changes;
Strategic Partnerships – negotiate and build strong relationships;
Knowledge Sharing – contribute to a collaborative, expert-driven environment;
Ad-Hoc Requests – tackle unique challenges from the Group.

What we expect from you:

5+ years of experience in management consulting (Big-3, Big-4, or other top-tier firms), with a strong background in strategy development, business transformation, and operational optimization.
Proven experience in structuring complex business challenges, conducting market and competitor analysis, and driving data-driven decision-making.
Strong expertise in financial modeling, business case development, and performance analytics.
Ability to build and optimize business processes, improving operational efficiency and scalability.
Experience in leading cross-functional projects, collaborating with stakeholders at various levels.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
High-level communication and negotiation skills, ability to influence and drive business decisions.

Nice to have:

Experience in payment solutions, PSP operations, or fintech.
Understanding of payment infrastructure, risk management, and compliance regulations (PSD2, AML, PCI DSS).
Background in high-growth tech companies or venture-backed startups.
