Job description

I am looking for experienced Azure Cloud Architects with a FinOps background to join a major European cloud services provider in Sweden.

This is a remote role, but you have to be based and eligible to work in Sweden.

My client is a European leader in public cloud infrastructure solutions and cloud-native application services with offices around Europe including Helsinki (HQ), Stockholm, Oslo, London, Munich, Amsterdam, Poznań, Copenhagen, Vienna, Malmö, and Jyväskylä. They are an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, Google Cloud Platform Strategic Partner and a Microsoft Gold Cloud Partner.

You will:

Lead by example in driving Azure architecture, strategy, and implementation across client engagements.
Take ownership of technical vision and delivery: you don't just execute, you drive.
Work closely with customers to understand their needs, anticipate challenges, and craft practical, forward-looking solutions.
Motivate and mentor a small to medium-sized team, fostering a high-performance, high-accountability culture.
Support in presales engagements where strategic thinking and customer focus are key.
Host design sessions, architecture reviews, and workshops, confidently communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Stay ahead of Azure developments and be a champion for continuous improvement, for yourself, your team, and your customers.

You have:

5+ years in IT, with at least 2 years focused on Azure cloud architecture and delivery.
Experience leading cloud cost management and optimization initiatives across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Provided strategic insights and reporting on cloud spend to executive stakeholders.
Collaborated with teams to drive financial accountability.
Identified high-impact cost-saving opportunities and ensured execution (e.g., right-sizing, reservations).
Evaluated and integrated FinOps tools and automation solutions
Stayed current with multi-cloud pricing models, trends, and FinOps best practices.
Strong customer-facing presence; you can confidently engage, challenge, and align diverse stakeholders.
Growth mindset: you're always learning, always improving, and you bring others along with you.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills.
Relevant Azure and AWS certifications (highly appreciated).
