Senior Recruiter Job Description

Position Summary:
Step into a high-impact sales role placing top healthcare professionals in critical contract positions nationwide. As a Remote Healthcare Recruiter, you’ll drive performance through outbound calls, strategic negotiations, and fast-paced deal execution. You'll manage the full sales cycle—from lead engagement and consultative selling to closing and negotiating —while navigating client needs and delivering measurable results. We are hiring for both our Travel Nursing and Allied Health divisions!


Essential Job Functions 

  • Builds and maintains working relationships with healthcare professionals.

  • Responsible for the selection and submission of healthcare professionals’ profiles to applicable client facilities to place qualified healthcare professionals on contracted assignments.

  • Works collaboratively with the Client Services Department by serving as the intermediary between customers and clients which impacts the overall success of operations of the organization.

  • Creates and executes contractual documentation after negotiation of pay, time off, and selection of shifts/schedules with the healthcare professional.

  • Inquire for healthcare professional issues, grievances, and complaints that may arise during an assignment by providing resolutions that meet the needs of the customer, client, and the organization. Resolutions must meet company procedures and protocols for quality compliance.

  • Provides input on the job status of healthcare professionals.

  • Follows all procedures and protocols as set forth by the Director of Recruitment and VP of Recruiting

  • Take calls after hours if scheduled to do so.

  • Any tasks which the Director of Recruitment and VP of Recruiting deem necessary to further the interests of the department or company. Follow all procedures and protocols.



EXPECTATIONS 

  • Recruiters are expected to meet performance expectations as defined in the TRS Recruiter Ramp schedules

  • A minimum of 12 Healthcare Professionals on contract by the end of your first year

  • A minimum of 20 Healthcare Professionals on contract by the end of your second year

Education and Experience 

  • Proven sales experience

  • Healthcare Recruiting Experience Preferred

  • Sound organizational Skills

  • Evidence of drive for success

  • Be a team player and possess excellent personal skills.

  • Must be comfortable spending substantial amounts of time on the phone and computer strengthening current business relationships, and positively dealing with customers’ questions and concerns.

  • Must have proven problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, while effectively exercising independent judgment about matters of significance

  • Technical Proficiency including Microsoft Suite and general computer skills


Work Environment 

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Remote Employee must have:

  • Stable, nonpublic internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in video meetings and other regular activities, with an alternative location considered as a backup.

  • Working environment conducive to conducting business without distraction or interference

  • Noise level in the work environment that is quiet to moderate

  • A designated workspace that allows the Team Member to focus, preferably with a desk or worktable, comfortable chair, and good lighting.


Corporate Events and Onsite Training 

TRS Healthcare hosts a minimum of one corporate meeting each year and a recruiter cohort onsite training. Team Member’s participation is required for these meetings. Travel will be booked and arranged through TRS' authorized travel platform and events coordinators. Team Members who resign or cancel their booked trip are subject to the TRS Travel Policy and may be subject to reimbursing TRS Healthcare for the cost of travel and other related expenses.

These physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Spending continuous time on the phone and video calls.
