Automotive Technician

We are looking for experienced Automotive Technicians to join our team at an engine overhaul company in the Netherlands (Maastricht Area) - with accommodation included!

As an Automotive Technician specializing in engine overhauls, you’ll play a crucial role in doing the repair and maintenance of engine performance and reliability for a variety of vehicles. Working with a dedicated team of specialists, you’ll disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble engines to the highest standards. • Engine Disassembly and Inspection: Carefully dismantling engine components to inspect for wear, damage, or malfunction. This includes checking for cracks, leaks, or worn parts to diagnose necessary repairs accurately.
  
• Repair and Replacement: Performing repairs and replacing damaged or worn parts (such as pistons, bearings, gaskets, and seals) to restore engine functionality, ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
  
• Reassembly and Testing: Reassembling engines with precision, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and torqued. Conducting tests and adjustments to verify the engine’s performance and identifying any additional issues before final installation.
  
• Tool and Equipment Management: Selecting, handling, and maintaining tools and diagnostic equipment, including torque wrenches, calipers, and diagnostic scanners, to ensure accurate repairs and extend tool life.
  
• Independent and Team Work: Executing smaller repair tasks independently and coordinating with other technicians for larger projects, ensuring efficiency and high-quality work in a collaborative environment.
  
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (such as gloves and eye protection), proper handling of hazardous materials, and ensuring a clean, organized work area to prevent accidents.
  

Requirements

• Education in automotive and/or related work experience;
  
• SCC (Safety Certificate) or be open to obtaining it through our program.
  
• 1+ years of similar work experience
  
• English on a B1 level
  
• Drivers License category B
  
• European Union Citizenship
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Flexibility and resilience
