Job description

Status: Full Time Salaried                                           FLSA Classification: Exempt

Summary of the Position: The Grant Manager should possess nonprofit grant and/or project management experience. The Grants Manager will also have experience developing and submitting grant and/or project reports. The candidate for this role should have superior writing and organizational skills. The Grants Manager should be able to write coherent, organized, and compelling grant reports, help streamline grant administration, assist with financial reports, and support the work of Advancement and Development’s efforts to fund YAP’s services and initiatives.  Preferred applicants possess a proficient knowledge of government and philanthropic grant funded program reporting, are deadline-driven team players with outstanding multitasking abilities, customer service skills and are passionate about the mission of Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field is high preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in the non-profit sector, government grant/project reporting, foundation grant/project reporting experience, financial management, and project management is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (O365) (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of using various database type systems is helpful. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
