Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Join our team as a Control Service Engineer! They are responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, repair, and installation of Machine Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), field instrumentation, variable frequency drives, Fieldbus network systems, and HMIs. The primary work location is the Van Wert office, but the position allows for working remotely occasionally.

  1. Basic skills in Troubleshooting 2 types of robotic system
  2. Basic skills in programming 2 types of (PLCs) and (HMI).
  3. Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from control systems to optimize performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  4. Review job Reports
  5. Proficient skills in troubleshooting 1 type of vision system



ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES 

  1. Concepting new equipment upgrades.
  2. Performance Analysis & Reporting
  3. Coach and train others
  4. System Testing & Validation
  5. Customer-Focused Documentation and User Manuals

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree in Industrial Technology or equivalent.
  • An understanding of laptop computers.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Must have valid driving privileges.
  • Have or the ability to acquire a passport.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (30-40%).
  • Willingness and ability to stay overnight (30-40%).
