Fullstack Engineer - CNTL_615

Condé Nast is seeking an engineer to join the Commercial Platform team at our new office in Bengaluru. He/she will work closely with product, design and commercial stakeholders to build ad technologies that drive incremental revenue, and meet market needs. Our global technology team has offices in New York, London and India, and supports a network of over 200 million readers and subscribers worldwide. 

About Us

The Ad Tech team sits within the Platform Engineering team at Conde Nast, and we build the advertising capabilities for the global platform. Our platform is in the process of internationalization as we migrate markets off legacy systems, and onto the global platform. Our stack leverages the latest Javascript and JS frameworks -- React, TypeScript, GraphQL.

About the Role

As an ad tech engineer, you will be responsible for developing, scaling and maintaining new ad products in the native ads suite. You will work in the front and back ends of the application - we use React, GraphQL, TypeScript, and vanilla JS. You will support the team with technical decision making, solutionizing and estimations. 

About You - Required skills/experience 

• You have a BE / BTech or equivalent experience
  

• You’re a software engineer with 5-6 years of experience.
  

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js, good understanding of ES6, React.js and JavaScript testing frameworks (such as Jest, Mocha etc.)
  

• Intermediate knowledge of Python and related frameworks such as Flask or Django. 
  

• Extensive experience laying out pages with CSS and HTML 
  

• Professional experience using source control: Git, GitHub
  

• Familiarity with advertising  platforms and vendors including: GAM/GPT, Prebid/Demand Manager, MOAT, Krux/Audience Manager/BlueKai, Experian/Liveramp
  

• Good understanding of Cloud Native architecture - Docker, AWS, CI/CD.
  

• You try to make the codebase nicer for the next person that visits it.
  

• You are  someone who will own every step of the development process; from refining tickets to shipping the code to production.
  

• You’ll do your best, and ask for help when it’s needed.
  

• You can communicate through a variety of media (Slack, video, email,  and in person) effectively
  

• Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to different audiences
  

• Business proficiency in spoken and written English
  

• Experience working with international teams across multiple time-zones
