We have an immediate opportunity for a Inbound planner Jr. to join us at our diverse team.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Use forecasting tool to secure capacity in area of responsibility. Secure in time contract to supplier when forecast is changing significantly up/down and secure communication and action plan for handling the changes together with project procurement, supplier, production planning and product management
  • Place order for raw material according to expected demand, secure order confirmation, follow-up and update order, secure close cooperation between planning and inbound, analyze and close blocked invoices.
  • Secure that all relevant fields are maintained and updated on time. This gives high quality in the processes.
  • Participating in negotiation the SLA's, secure the logistic input, capacity and material flexibility, VSM, etc. to secure minimum inbound logistics terms and hereby create win/win fore both supplier and Danfoss.
  • Establish close cooperation with the suppliers, work with continues improvements, secure that the vendor has the right information on time, forecast, work structured in reducing lead-time, reduce cost, secure structured development plan. By this we can reach logistic excellent
  • Maintain safety stock, remove or establish safety stock, maintain manual when needed, work with slow movers. Use the zoning tool proactively to achieve the needed stock level.
  • Secure documentation of processes, evaluation and development, development cross plants, development across business units and across other industrial areas and secure best practice
