Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for all facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and optimize cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the maintenance team to achieve performance objectives.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for outsourced maintenance services.
  • Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 810 years of experience in maintenance management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, mechanical systems, and safety regulations.
  • Proven experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP, PMP) is an advantag
