Location: 100% remote, est hours
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description
Project Details:
JM Family is currently going through a migration from Azure Devops to GitHub Actions. This individual will be part of the enablement team building consistent tooling that a lot of other groups will be leveraging. They are looking for an Azure Devops Engineer with hands on experience in using Azure Devops pipeline Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions. This role will also be responsible for optimizing cloud-based solutions, patterns and procedures that Engineer's follow in creating/deploying cloud based solutions. Helping design and build out automation that aids in verifying compliance to best practice DevOps/Developer procedures: Azure Devops Pipelining, IaaC via Azure Bicep, compliance to necessary tagging/configuration policies, unit testing, static code analysis, and other "developer compliance/best practice” related areas.

Our dream candidate will have deep experience Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and effectively share platform knowledge with technology teams to design and implement the most optimal Azure based solutions for our business. They would be passionate about finding quantifiable methods of measuring progress and celebrating the wins with our teams.

Responsibilities:
· This Person will be writing pipeline code and writing infra modules.
· YAML based pipelines with a focus on reusable job and step templates.
· Have a deep knowledge of Azure PaaS services
· Ensure appropriate implementation of technology following all standards and best practices set forth by governing bodies.
· Assist in developing and managing a Tagging Governance Model, Resource Naming Standards, and other "solution delivery” compliance issues.
· Share Azure best practices, participate in a "Developer Community of Practice” with solution delivery teams, help instill best practices in our software developer practice, constantly update teammates and dev community on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent, current, and upcoming Azure Cloud capabilities.
· Conduct research on various technical initiatives and issues - propose and communicate technical/detailed solutions.
· Provide Azure engineering support to operations and technical development teams.
· Perform root cause analysis and provide guidance to technical leadership regarding future issue prevention.
· Support and implement the technology roadmap for our cloud platform.
· Provide financial cloud consulting to development teams to help shape technical requirements and solutions.
